Black Pen Plating

## Product Description

RHODUNA® 275 Black applies bright, dark rhodium to selected areas of jewellery and accessories using a pen-plating unit. The anthracite-to-black shade depends on the voltage used. The product can also be used for rack plating; the process values below refer to pen plating.

- Bright anthracite–black rhodium surface
- Crack-free coatings up to approximately 0.1 µm
- Fast deposition and uniform layers

Applications: Jewellery, watches, writing instruments, spectacle frames and fittings.

- Electrolyte type: Strongly acidic

- Rhodium content: 2 g Rh / 100 mL

- pH: < 1

- Operating temperature: Room temperature (20–40 °C)

- Voltage: 8–10 V (maks. 12 V)

- Deposition rate: 0.1 µm/min’ya kadar

- Deposit purity: 99.9% Rh

- Colour: Anthracite–black

- L*a*b* · 10 V: 61.0 / 1.1 / 4.0

- Hardness: Approx. 600 HV

- Maximum thickness: Approx. 0.1 µm
