# Umicore RHODUNA® Diamond Bright(2g Rh/100ml)

## Product Description

RHODUNA® Diamond Bright produces brilliant white surfaces with a high deposition rate and good throwing power. Its low-porosity coatings offer corrosion and wear resistance. The manufacturer reports crack-free coatings up to 5 µm under appropriate operating conditions.

Applications: Jewellery, watches, spectacle frames, writing instruments and technical applications such as reed contacts.

- Electrolyte type: Strongly acidic

- Rhodium content: 2 (1.6–3.0) g/L Rh

- pH: < 1

- Operating temperature: 40 °C (room temperature–65 °C)

- Current density: 1–2 A/dm² (0.5–10 A/dm²)

- Deposition rate: 1 A/dm²’de 0.08; 2 A/dm²’de 0.10 µm/min

- Deposit purity: 99.99% Rh

- Colour and brightness: White · Highly bright

- Hardness: Approx. 800–900 HV

- Maximum thickness: Approx. 3–5 µm

- Anode: Pt/Ti or MMO · PLATINODE® 187
