## Product Description

RHODUNA® PT ONE was developed as an economical alternative to pure rhodium plating. The deposit contains 20% rhodium and 80% platinum. With a total metal content of 1 g/L, the electrolyte provides brilliant white finishes in small-scale rack-plating applications.

- 20% Rh and 80% Pt deposit alloy
- Crack-free coatings up to 0.3 µm
- Low porosity and good throwing power

Applications: Jewellery, watches, writing instruments, spectacle frames and bathroom fittings.

## Technical Specifications

- Electrolyte type: Strongly acidic

- Bath metal content: 0.3 g/L Rh + 0.7 g/L Pt

- pH: < 1

- Operating temperature: 45 °C (40–50 °C)

- Current density: 3 A/dm² (2–5 A/dm²)

- Deposition rate: Approx. 0.05 µm/min at 3.5 A/dm²

- Deposit alloy: 20% Rh + 80% Pt

- Colour and brightness: White · bright

- Hardness: Approx. 600 HV

- Crack-free coating thickness: 0.3 µm maximum

- Deposit density: Approx. 18.7 g/cm³

- Anode: Pt/Ti or MMO 187SO
